Purim 2017 with the theme of Heroes and Villains.

On Monday 13th March, we had a full day event for Purim with the theme of Heroes and Villains. Leo Fink’s sister Mia came and read from the Megillah which she had read her Batmitvah, which was really lovely. After a parade and class based Purim activities, there were mixed groups covering mask making, drama and a setting for Willy Wonker’s chocolate factory for key stage one and drama and debate and historic learning , sights , smells and sounds of Sushan in Key stage two. We also had a special visitor in Key stage two, Lindsey Taylor-Guthartz, a Jewish scholar, who taught the children how to leyn a few words of the Megillah and related facts. A lovely, fun day was had by all!
