Coach Lucy writes: The Year 6 boys’ football team played brilliantly at the Maccabi inter-school tournament. We finished 3rd of 6 in a very strong group, narrowly missing out on the quarter finals with a record of 1 win, 3 draws and 1 loss. A convincing 3-0 win showed us what we are capable of. On two separate occasions we were ahead only to concede a last minute equaliser. The game we lost we conceded from an unfortunate own goal and an unsaveable freekick. The players’ performance and effort levels were very high throughout, and they found a good balance of tenacity and composure. We left knowing that with some small and very achievable improvements we can go much further next time.

had this in school for a while but haven’t had the staffing
capacity to organise it. I am grateful to parent Jason Shelley who
