This week, 16 children attended Haringey’s Athletics tournament.
On Monday, our Year 6 team represented Eden and placed 15th out of 21 schools, demonstrating great resilience and sportsmanship.
Tuesday was the turn of the Year 3/4 squad, and for their first-ever athletics tournament, the children did amazingly well, coming 18th out of 21 schools.
Every child participated in two field events and two track events, putting in their best efforts. Jesse and Saul place 2nd in their 75m sprint, and Leo won his 50m sprint on day 2!
The girls achieved high points for the team as well: Elinor came second in her 75m sprint, while Lyla and Inabal both placed second in their 50m sprints.
A fantastic time was had by all, and the children truly showcased their talents.
