We had a wonderful day on Tuesday when the school was filled with all sorts of animals. I’m not entirely sure where the children went, but the animals all had a great day. We started with an assembly where we heard the Megillah being read (leyned beautifully by Eli) and we all made a noise at the mention of the baddie of the story, Haman.
We sang our favourite Purim songs and had a dazzling costume parade.
Children prepared Misloach Manot, joined in games and dancing in the playground, took part in writing and storytelling activities around the megillah. A thoroughly lovely day!
