The year 6 cricket squad performed exceptionally well in the recent tournament. In the morning session they won one and lost one of their group games, finishing second in the group. This meant they missed out on the finals, and were placed in another group with similarly ranked teams for the afternoon session.
They won both of these games, which put them 4th overall out of 12 schools.
Each team they played had multiple club players, but they worked excellently as a team and showed moments of individual brilliance to overcome the gap in experience and come out victorious.
