Tuesday’s matinee and Wednesday’s evening performance were an absolute triumph. The whole production was put on by the children, who designed the backdrop, lighting and choreography, sourced and managed the props, operated the sound and technical aspects, wrote and designed the programme, as well as all taking all the acting, singing, instrumental music and dancing parts. We have some exceptionally talented children whose acting and singing was incredibly impressive, and the quality of performance from the whole cast, including the one line or non-speaking parts, was very high.
Children have worked very hard under the direction of Simone Snyder (musical director) and Laura Proffitt (director), taking on a task that seemed very hard at first. This has meant a huge jump in progress and confidence for many of the children who have developed their creativity, independence and leadership skills.
And what an enjoyable show! Thank you, Oranim. We are still beaming with pride.
